The Halifax Antique Car Club has been a cornerstone of the classic car community in Nova Scotia since its founding in 1963. Established by a small group of passionate car enthusiasts, the club was created to bring together individuals who shared a love for antique and vintage automobiles. Over the decades, we’ve grown into a vibrant and active organization that plays a key role in preserving the history and heritage of classic cars in the region.
From its humble beginnings, the club quickly gained momentum, organizing events, car shows, and restoration workshops. These activities not only showcased the timeless beauty of antique cars but also fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among members. The Halifax Antique Car Club has long been a place where car enthusiasts can exchange knowledge, share stories, and support each other in their restoration projects.
Our members meet regularly on the fourth Sunday of each month, with the exception of July, August, and December, allowing for time to enjoy the busy summer season and the holidays. Currently, our meetings take place at the Fairview Legion. These gatherings are a fantastic opportunity for members to connect, share updates on their vehicles, and plan for upcoming events.
For over six decades, the Halifax Antique Car Club has been committed to preserving the rich automotive history of Nova Scotia and beyond. From hosting car shows and cruises to organizing workshops and attending regional events, we proudly celebrate the craftsmanship, design, and innovation of antique cars.
As we look to the future, our mission remains the same: to cultivate a community where the love for antique cars thrives and to ensure that these classic vehicles continue to be appreciated for generations to come.
